MSI has announced a launch of two cards in Radeon 2400 series, MSI RX2400XT-TD256EH based on HD 2400XT GPU and, MSI RX2400PRO-TD256EH based on Radeon 2400PRO GPU. As all Radeon HD 2400 cards these also support multi-channel 5.1 surround audio, HDMI over DVI-HDMI adapter.

MSI's 2400XT GPU works at 700MHz, and the card is equipped with 256MB of GDDR2 memory on 64bit memory interface. Memory is clocked at 800MHz.

As for the MSI's 2400 PRO card, its GPU is clocked at 525MHz. Memory is the same found on 2400XT, 256MB 64bit GDDR2 that works at 800MHz. Interesting thing is that this card is low profile and passively cooled. The heatsink looks massive and it will sure do a good thing cooling the 65nm GPU.
