Up to $300 market

Intel’s miraculous discrete graphics card is not after G80, G92 or R600 or R700.

Intel wants to start with midrange products and possibly a low end. This is what high ranked sources confirmed last week in Taiwan.

Our sources confirmed independently that Intel needs time to get itself in the high end league and that it needs to prove to the world that it can do a decent GPU and a graphics card. Once it succeeds with a first generation Larrabee it will move its discrete generation toward high end.

Long term Intel wants to fight AMD’s ATI and Nvidia in the high end but they know that it will take them time.
