All ATI partners are really upset by the constant delay of ATI's products. The R600, Radeon HD 2900XT is finally out, but the more affordable Radeon HD 2600 and 2400 series got pushed back into July. Almost nobody buys graphics cards in July, as at least Europeans try to go on vacation at that time and Ausies are skiing or something.
ATI completely destroyed the financial year for all of its partners, as they have weak sales from January onwards. If the RV630 and RV610 chips were available in May as it was originally planned, they would have had a chance.
All they can hope for now is to have a good September and if all goes well a strong Q4, but bear in mind that ATI is going up against Nvidia, and Nvidia was doing great in the last couple of quarters.
