The current RV630 samples runs at 800 MHz. we are talking
about A12 samples while the A14 should be the final version. Normally ATI
launches A13 as the final version but obviously something went wrong with that
chip so the company decided to move for the A14 version.
The bad thing about this card is of course that it uses a 128
bit memory controller and that the performance won't be that great on high resolutions
with FSAA and Aniso on.
The 800 MHz might not be the final clock as the 65 nanometre
chip should be able to score even more than that. We think that ATI has really
big chances to win the mainstream battle this time.
