Performance optimizations for new games

AMD has released its newest Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta drivers which bring performance optimizations for a couple of new and upcoming games.

Although we are eagerly awaiting release of the new AMD Radeon Software Crimson major drivers update, which will both replace the Catalyst Control Center and the Catalyst drivers, AMD is keeping up with its beta drivers update with new Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta drivers. These will probably be the last drivers to bear the Catalyst brand as the Radeon Software Crimson is rumored for launch on November 24th.

According to the release notes, Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta drivers are available for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and support all AMD Radeon graphics cards since Radeon HD 5000 series.

Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta drivers do not bring any significant changes other than performance improvements for Star Wars: Battlefront, Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III, so they are quite important considering that these are some hot AAA titles. The release notes also include an updated list of known issues which will probably be fixed with the next big driver update.

As always, you can find new Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta drivers at AMD's dedicated support page.
