Geforce Experience is a nice piece of software that might help you optimise games for your hardware with the single click of a mouse. This is not exactly something that enthusiasts will do, but this one-click approach might be a nice first step and then you can additionally tune up the game manually.

Those that use this feature, especially on notebooks, will want to install Geforce Experience 2.1.3 as this release adds support for battery optimized games settings. It will make games run longer when playing on battery, but this feature requires Geforce GTX 800M or Geforce GTX 900M series GPUs, including the recently released GTX 970M and GTX 980M.

Many supported games will have adjustable settings for plugged-in and battery mode and the software can automatically apply battery settings when unplugged and optimal settings when plugged-in.

This release comes after 2.1.2 that brought Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) mode for Geforce GTX 900 series GPUs on the desktop as well as 4K ShadowPlay recording for GeForce GTX 900 series such as the EVGA GTX 970 card we tested last month.

The application should notify you that you need an update and will inform you if a new driver is also available.
