Nvidia to begin shipping G-Sync modules in Q2 2014

Monitors with it might come earlier

Nvidia definitely made a huge impact with its G-Sync technology which should get rid off latency and image stuttering issues seen with V-Sync and, according to Nvidia, in cooperation with Acer, AOC, ASUS, BenQ, Philips and ViewSonic, it should start to ship the G-Sync DIY module sometime in Q2 2014.

In case you missed it, currently only the ASUS VG248QE gaming monitor supports the G-Sync module and ASUS earlier announced that the same, but G-Sync-enabled VG248QE model should be available in the first half of this year. Some of the other partners from the list should have G-Sync enabled monitors pretty soon, or at least should announce them, but in case you are looking for some DIY, it appears that you will have to wait for Q2 2014. In case you missed it earlier, the G-Sync is a hardware PCB which removes latency and image stuttering usually seen with V-Sync.

The G-Sync is certainly an impressive piece of technology, but we are yet to see some monitors and we are sure that a big part of Nvidia's CES 2014 showcase will be about G-Sync Technology.
