Support ends with Catalyst 12.7

According to a post over Phoronix, it appears that AMD plans to axe the support for its HD 2000, HD 3000 and HD 4000 series GPUs as of the Catalyst 12.7 driver package.

Catalyst 12.7 should appear sometime in July and users with pre-HD 5000 series graphics cards will still be able to use Catalyst 12.6 as their lastest driver. It does make some sense as those cards are barely hanging in today games, and it could also bring a smaller size driver package.

Of course, pre-HD 5000 series didn't recieve any major update or performance increase in any of the recent Catalyst driver packages so we don't think this is a big deal.
