Performance boosts, new 3D Vision features
Nivida has rolled out a new set of WHQL drivers which promise to deliver significant performance boosts in certain titles.

RPG lovers will be thrilled to hear that Dragon Age II now runs up to 6.2 times faster on a GTX 580 SLI setup, while it ends up 3.6 times faster on the mid-range GTX 560 Ti. Other titles saw a much smaller, but nonetheless significant increase, ranging from 11 percent in Just Cuase 2 to 4 percent in Mafia 2.

Nvidia has also tweaked 3D Vision support for all enthusiasts who embraced it. Frame rates jumped across the board, particularly with SLI setups, with a staggering 367 percent in Call of Duty: Black Ops, 350% in Left 4 Dead 2, NFS:Shift 259 percent and so on.

3D depth of field effects have also been improved, that is to say 3D crosshair is now several times faster. Nvidia has also simplified the installation of 3D Vision by integrating the 3D Vision USB controller into the driver, along with some other optimizations.
