The Geforce 550 Ti CoolStream Super OC Edition
Club3D is pretty keen in promoting its latest non-reference cooler, the CoolStream, as it has just rolled out yet another card with it, the GTX 550 Ti CoolStream Super OC Edition.

Based on Nvidia's 40nm GF116 GPU, the new GTX 550 Ti CoolStream works at 940MHz for the GPU, 1880MHz for those 192 CUDA cores and 4300MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 192-bit memory interface. For comparison sake, the reference card ticks at 900/1800/4100MHz. The card still has support for 2-way SLI and has two DVI and an HDMI output.

We already had a chance to see the CoolStream cooler back when Club3D announced its GTX 560 Ti OC Edition card, but since we are here talking about the GTX 550 Ti, the cooler is slightly different than the one on the GTX 560 Ti. This time around, there was no need for dual fan configuration as the GTX 550 Ti is quite happy with a single fan as well. The cooler should bring lower temperatures and lower noise output when compared to the reference solution.

Although Club3D didn't announce the availability date or the price tag of this card, it is already listed in Europe with a lowest price set at €126,82. The reference clocked and cooled one from Club3D can be found at the same shop for €116,95.

You can find it here.
