According to our sources, a recently publicized picture of a GTX 480 PCB might not be the final one as some thing might be changed.

Considering that Nvidia still hasn't given any info about the specs to its partners we are pretty sure that this is true. We heard that there might be some changes in number of layers as Nvidia is currently using an 8-layer PCB.

There have been some speculations that it might be changed to the 10-layer one which could further raise the cost of the card but since none of this came from Nvidia, and the same Nvidia is not discussing any info about Fermi, take these with a grain of salt.

In any case, we will get more info sooner or later as the launch is less than two weeks away.
