Nvision 2008: Are you sure you are fine?

Nvidia's partners are not walking away from Nvision with high hopes. Nvidia failed to communicate that everything is going to be fine in the future. Partners are upset that they don’t know much about the future roadmap and how exactly Nvidia wants to go against ATI’s current offering.

Nvidia likes to keep the information for itself and it doesn’t like to share its secret weapons, but now would be a great time to prove that Nvidia will come back even stronger. Everyone has heard about GT200 55nm, but no one knows enough, just that it might come with GDDR5 and that it has more Shaders. However, we believe that at this stage they need to know more.

When Nvidia slipped with NV30, the big guys such as Asus and MSI embraced ATI and we strongly believe that Nvidia has to be more convincing than it was for the last two days if they want to keep everyone happy.

They understand that CUDA is coming and will make a GPU matter to non-gamers, but this is a long shot and 3D glasses will be a hit, but naturally it will take some time as it involves monitor change. Overall, we believe that Nvidia is in much better shape than it wants to share to the world.

The best way to describe Nvidia over the last two days is like a young boy who is too scared to talk to a girl and tell her how he really feels.
