Newegg is listing a couple of GTX 465 cards and for the first time we have some concrete pricing info on Nvidia's upcoming GF100-based performance card.
The MSI N465GTX-M2D1G and ASUS ENGTX465/2DI/1GD5 are listed at $279, which doesn't come as much of a surprise, as the number has been thrown around over the past weeks. Of course, both are reference cards, clocked at 607MHz/838MHz/1215MHz for the core, memory and shaders.
We haven't managed to find any trustworthy listings in the EU market, but we estimate that the GTX 465 will end up with a €249 price tag. So, it will end up in the same price range as the HD 5850.
However, in some early benchmarks, the GTX 465 failed to match HD 5850 performance. In Nvidia's defense, the card isn't out yet and the results could improve once the outfit issues proper drivers.
