Just in time to boost availability

Club 3D has just officially announced its Geforce GTX 400 series cards, and not a moment too late. As you know, the availability of the GTX 480 and the GTX 470 cards has finally become pretty good and despite the fact that most partners have announced their cards a while back, they couldn't be found in retail/e-tail.

Club 3D has launched both cards using the Nvidia reference design and we although some partners have already come forth with their non-reference designs we are yet to see any of those in retail. The new Club 3D GTX 480 has 480 Cores and works at 700MHz for the GPU, 1401 for shaders and 3696MHz for 1536MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface.

The Club 3D GTX 470 has 448 Cores and same reference clocks as all the other GTX 470 cards on the market. It works at 607MHz for the GPU, 1215MHz for shaders, and 3348MHz for 1280MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 320-bit memory interface.

Both cards should appear in retail/e-tail pretty soon.
