Geforce 210, GT 220 and GT 240

Sparkle has announced new Geforce 210, GT 220 and GT 240 cards that will feature a low-profile PCB and passive cooling. All three cards feature support for DirectX 10.1 and are targeting HTPC users that know how to appreciate a low-profile PCBs.

The new Geforce 210 works at 589MHz for the core, 1402MHz for shaders and feature 512MB of DDR2 memory clocked at 800MHz. The card has 16 stream processors, 64-bit memory interface and will use Sparkle's S-type heatsink.

The new Geforce GT220 and GT240 both use the same dual copper heatpipe cooling solution with a heatsink placed on the back of the card. They both feature a 128-bit memory interface and 1GB of DDR3 memory. The faster, GT 240 has 96 stream processors and works at 550MHz for the core, 1340MHz for shaders and 1400MHz for memory, while the GT 220 has slightly faster GPU clock set at 625MHz due to the 48 stream processors. The new GT 220 shaders are clocked at 1360MHz while the memory is at the same 1400MHz.
