Five Go! Greens

Like all other AMD partners, Powercolor has announced a total of five different HD 5450 cards, all of which are pretty much based on the same specification. All five feature a 40nm Cedar GPU with 80 Stream processors and a GPU clock of 650MHz.

The newly announced HD 5450 Go! Green cards have either 512MB of DDR2 or 512MB or 1GB of DDR3 memory. Powercolor also differentiated the cards by display outputs, so the so-called Eyefinity Edition, has DVI, D-Sub and DisplayPort outputs. The Eyefinity Edition will also be available in two versions, one with 512MB of DDR2 memory and the other with 512MB of DDR3 memory.

All five cards have a 64-bit memory interface. The cards with DDR2 memory will be clocked at 800MHz for memory, while DDR3 versions will be clocked at 1334MHz. All cards are also cooled by a small single slot heatsink and feature a low-profile PCB.

All cards should appear in retail pretty soon with a price tag of around €50 depending on the version.
