RV790 for 130 bucks

Previously available only on the Asian market, Sapphire's HD 4860 has apparently find its on the Newegg.com pages and is now available with free shipping.

The card is based on AMD's 55nm RV790 GPU and has 640 stream processors and a 256-bit memory interface. Back when it showed its face online for the first time, this card was meant for Asian market, but it looks like that the Cypress 300k toll has made Sapphire to reconsider its plans for this card and ship it to the USA.

The GPU works at 700MHz and has 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 3000MHz. It has a non-reference Sapphire dual slot cooler and features DVI, HDMI and Displayport outputs.

With a US $129.99 price tag and a free shipping we are sure that a lot of these will be sold.

We are still not sure if the same card will show up in Europe as well, but everything can happen considering that Cypress is quite rare these days. You can find it listed here.
