With Zerotherm cooling

Powercolor is the first partner that has announced a true "non-reference" HD 5750 card, the Powercolor HD 5750 PCS "Premium Edition".

A bunch of HD 5750 cards are already non-reference as you can see various coolers on these cards depending on the partner, but neither one had anything quite interesting as this one. Unfortunately, Powercolor has decided to keep the reference clocks on this one, but we are quite sure that Zerotherm's cooler is quite capable of dealing with overclocked HD 5750.

Powercolor has a long tradition of using Zerotherm's coolers, and we were quite impressed with it on the HD 4850 series. It's very quiet, but does a great job in cooling the GPU, and we quite sure that it will do even better on the HD 5750.

According to Powercolor, the cooler is able to maintain noise levels below 30dB, even when under full load. It features two heatpipes, a copper base and 140pcs of thin copper fins, a combination that sounds pretty good. The most important part is that it is compatible with "exclusive" fan control technology, so in idle this one should keep the noise levels at a minimum.

The card works at reference 700MHz for the core, and 1150MHz (4.6Gbps) for 1GB of GDDR5 memory. It has a 128-bit memory bandwidth, supports DirectX 11, AMD's Eyefinity and Crossfirex, and features HDMI, Display Port and two DVI outputs.

The card is bundled with a Dirt 2 game coupon, and the suggested retail price stands at US $139.
