Most of the places

ATI had a good launch of Radeon 5770 cards and the new cards with a 128-bit memory interface matched with 1200MHz memory and 850MHz core clock proved to be a good combination. Its 40nm Radeon 5750 brother is a bit weaker, but is still doing fine for the money.

The 800 shaders can give you performance that is close to a year old DirectX 10.1 Radeon 4870, but remember, 5770 has DirectX 11 support and doesn’t need as much power.

All this resulted in the fact that Radeon HD 5770 and 5750 both sold out in Europe while you can still get them in the US. People simply want to grab a cheap DirectX 11 capable card and this time around ATI got the right price.

Let’s hope that they will be able to pump more cards in channel and solve the shortage soon. We should have our in house review of XFX 5770 and 5750 cards posted later today.
