A total of five cards

Palit is one of the first partners to announce the Geforce GT 220 and G210 cards. Palit has decided to launch a total of five cards, four based on GT216 GPU and a single G210 card based on the GT218 GPU.

The first four are GT 220 1GB DDR3, GT 220 1GB DDR2, GT 220 512MB DDR2 and the GT 220 Sonic card. As you can guess from the name, the only thing that is changed is the amount and type of memory used on these cards, except for the Sonic which is an overclocked card. The first three are working at 635MHz for the core while the GT 220 Sonic is overclocked to 650MHz and comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory.

The last is the G210 card with 16 processor cores, a 64-bit memory interface and 512MB of DDR2 memory. This one is clocked at 589MHz. Palit has also decided to use full OS-CON capacitors for reliable operation, low ESR and wide frequency range, something that we will probably see on most of these cards.
