Six ports on the backplate

The guys over at pctuning.tyden.cz have posted a picture of ATI's HD 5870 Six, which is also rumored to be called, the HD 5870 Eyefinity Edition. This card will be the crown jewel of ATI's HD 5800 lineup, at least until the dual GPU, HD 5870 X2, shows up. It should promote ATI's Eyefinity Technology.

The cad has six mini-DVI ports and as you can could see it does look impressive when it runs six screens. This model will be equipped with 2GB of memory, and we guess that it should end up at least a bit more expensive than the rest of the HD 5800 lineup.

ATI's Eyefinity and six monitors do look impressive, but it is something that just isn't meant for a mere mortal. We still haven't heard the price of Samsung's Eyefinity optimized monitors, but we are pretty sure that these will be anything but affordable.
