Non-reference iCooler III cooler

HIS has been releasing quite a few cards lately and most of them feature its new iCooler cooling system. The newest addition to this series is based on RV740 GPU, most commonly known as the HD 4770.

The card itself features reference clocks set at 750MHz for the GPU and 3200MHz for 512MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU has 640 stream processors and the card comes with HDMI, DVI and D-Sub outputs.

The dual slot iCooler III is what this card is all about. HIS claims high performance, or at least higher than reference. The real deal is the noise, as this card should cool the GPU well at only 24dB of noise, which should be quite less noisy than the reference cooler.

The card will also be bundled with BumpTop 3D desktop environment software, something that HIS is currently shipping with all of its new cards. Once again, the price or the availability date are still unconfirmed.
