That is the real deal

We spoke with marketing chaps at Zotac and we were not much surprised to hear that the demand for dual core Atom based Ion board is much bigger than for the single core Ion based system.

The company executive confirmed that some 75 percent of Ion ITX board customers want to buy a dual core. Zotac Ion ITX B the single core Atom 230 board is selling for very acceptable €110 and is available in stock, while Zotac Ion ITX A with dual core Atom 330 is selling for €160+ and we could not find any in stock here.

Zotac is happy with the demand and as we suggested you can build a nice HTPC system for just around €300 this will include cheap ITX case, some memory and HDD drive. Since the board has a passive notebook-like PSU adaptor, you should be really happy with the noise levels in your living room.
