It looks like it is pretty hard to find ATI's HD 4770 in Europe. It's not as bad as was the case with Nvidia's GTX 275, but it also is not as good as partners would like. The usual suspects have some cards, but the situation should be better next week.
We already heard that ATI will not be able to have real availability immediately after launch and we wrote about it
here and
here. This is understandable as HD 4770 is a 40nm card and yields are not that good, and the demand might also have something to do with it, as those cards that are shipped might have sell out.
The usual suspects in Europe, like
Alternate.de or
Scan.co.uk have some cards from various AIB partners and these are your best bet if you want to buy ATI's new HD 4770.
The situation should be better next week when partners get a new batch of cards. This second batch will hopefully be larger than the first one, which apparently wasn't sizable enough for the hungry market.
