Overclocked and Ultimate come later

Like all other ATI AIB partners, Sapphire has also announced its own HD 4770 card. As AMD voted nay on overclocked or non-reference designed cards, Sapphire's passive cooled Ultimate Edition and overclocked cards should come in next two to three weeks.

Sapphire has always been a special ATI exclusive partner, and they always surprise us with their own cards, and even now, Sapphire's HD 4770 is a bit different than the rest of the competition. As you can see from the picture below, Sapphire has decided to put, what looks like, a small heatsink that covers the VRM part of the card. It's a nice touch, and it at least differentiate Sapphire card from the rest of the pack.

The specifications are the same so the card works at 750MHz for the core and 3,200MHz for 512MB of GDDR5 memory. The card is already listed in Europe with a lowest price set at €87,30 for the bulk/lite retail package and €92,40 for the full retail card. Alternate.de has few of these cards in stock and you can find them all here.
