Overclocked low profile card

Zotac has announced a new low-profile 9600GT card. This low profile 9600GT card is factory overclocked and needs a molex power connector.

It is based on Nvidia's 9600GT, has 64 stream processors and a 256-bit memory interface. To our surprise, despite the fact that it's a low profile card, it is factory overclocked. Zotac's 9600GT LP works at 675MHz for the core and while shaders ended up working at 1650MHz. This is a 25MHz overclock for both the core and the shader clock. The 512MB of GDDR3 memory ended up working at reference 900MHz (1,800MHz).

The card has a DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and comes bundled with two low profile brackets and SPDIF cable. The card should be available immediately and we managed to find out that the MSRP price stands at €99 but we expect it to sell for even lower price (around €80) once it hits retail.
