Following yesterday's reports that Nvision was canceled, Nvidia told Ars Technica site that Nvision '09 isn't dead, at least not yet.

According to what Ars Technica managed to squeeze out of Nvidia's Derek Perez, due to the economic crisis and the effect that it has on everyone's ability to travel, Nvidia is planning to organize a more "concentrated" event.

Nvidia is still thinking about Nvision and that's a good thing, as it would be a shame to see that this event will follow the fate of Intel's IDF and Apple's Macworld, and we sincerely hope that it will "change" into something better.

According to Derek Perez, Nvidia will soon announce more details concerning this "change" as they like to call it these days.
