Likes to make niche cards

This is far from Albatron's first attempt at coming up with an unusual graphics card solution, as the company has made a range of PCI and PCI Express x1 cards in the past, but its latest addition seems slightly out of place, as the previous offers have been fairly low-end.

The new card is based on an Nvidia 9500GT GPU with a core clock speed of 550MHz, the shaders at 1,375MHz and finally 256MB of unspecified memory with a 128-bit memory interface at 1,400MHz. It might be basic, but considering that it's a low-profile card on a PCIe x1 bus, much more shouldn't really be needed.

The card has a DVI, D-sub and TV-out connector, although we'd like to have seen HDMI in favour of the TV-out and D-sub. It seems like the card has S/PDIF audio pass through, so it might still work with a DVI to HDMI dongle.

This could be an interesting card for some mini-ITX board that only have a x1 PCIe slot, or for those with a system without a x16 PCIe slot. However, don't expect this card to offer the full performance of the 9500GT GPU, as the bus will limit it, as we've seen with past PCIe x1 graphics cards.
