Zotac has decided to expand its 9400GT lineup by adding two new cards, the 9400GT Synergy Edition low-profile 512MB version and the 9400GT 1GB card.

The 9400GT Synergy edition uses a low-profile PCB and works at 550MHz for the core and 800MHz for 512MB of DDR2 memory. According to the press release from Zotac, it has 32 stream processors, which is a bit weird as the regular 9400GT comes with only 16 stream processors. The shader clock is set at 1,400MHz.

Another specification that caught our eye on the 9400GT Synergy Edition card, is the 64-bit memory interface, while most 9400GT's use a 128-bit memory interface. Zotac bundles this card with a low profile brackets, and the card comes with usual outputs, DVI, D-Sub and TV-Out.

The second one is dubbed Zotac Geforce 9400GT DDR2 1GB, and as you can see from the name it comes with 1024MB of DDR2 memory clocked at same 800MHz. The GPU on this card works at 550MHz and this one features 16 stream processors and a 128-bit memory interface. The shader clock is set at the same 1,400MHz. This one is a full-height card, and it comes with same outputs, DVI, D-Sub and TV-out.

Both the Synergy Edition and the 1GB version are cooled by a small heatsink and fan combination and both come with support for DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0, Nivida CUDA, PhysX and PureVideo HD technology. Zotac has included its extended warranty that requires user registration with both of these cards.

These cards should be available soon and we expect them to retail at around €40.
