Sales down to toilet

The good news is that in Q1 2009 Nvidia sales is picking up and the new and old GTX 260 are selling well and GTX 285 and GTX 295 are doing fine. The bad news is that Q4 2008 sales was really bad for Nvidia as ATI's 1GB and 2GB Radeon 4870 X2 and non X2 were selling really well.

Nvidia got the new driver that changed the game and made GTX 260 with 216 stream processors to win, but this was too late to really affect and saves Q4 2008 sales numbers.

As of late December and early January we hear various reports that the sales is picking up and there is a lot of interest for 55nm parts as people expect a lot from them. ATI saleas is still doing fine, but we are not sure what XFX is waiting with its Radeon line, that should refresh ATI’s offerings.

Nvidia already warned investors that its sales numbers will go deeply down and this is today's reality of the company with strong trend of recovery going on now.
