We've learned that ATI plans to refresh its RV730 entry level card offerings with a 1GB version. There might be a Radeon HD 4350 with 1GB of memory, simply as this particular market likes to buy cards that feature more memory.

Nvidia has its Geforce 9500GT with 1GB of memory and this card is really hurting ATI as these consumers want more memory and they don’t really know that a 1GB card is usually up to 5 percent faster than a 512MB card. In the eyes of these consumers 1GB looks like two times better than 512MB and therefore it sells rather good.

ATI has the Radeon 4650 1GB that starts at €55, that is even cheaper than 9500GT 1GB, but for some reason market doesn’t see this.
