Specs revealed

Elsa is the first partner to officially announce its Nvidia Quadro FX 5800 card, with the rest of the partners to follow up soon. As you may know, Nvidia has recently announced its latest addition to the Quadro family of professional graphics cards, the Quadro FX 5800.

Techconnect Magazine managed to get their hands on a picture and details of Elsa's card. The new Quadro FX 5800 features no less than 4GB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1,600MHz with a 512-bit memory interface. The GT200 GPU is clocked at 610MHz, features 240 "processing cores" and a 128-bit floating point precision pipeline. It has a single SLI connector, support for DirectX 10 and OpenGL and comes with two DVI ports and a single DisplayPort connector.

Elsa is going to cover the Japanese market, while Leadtek the U.S. and PNY Europe. You can check out the picture below. Of course, the high specs and power come with a high price tag of US$3,500.
