Quite unique

Sparkle has included a batch of rather interesting cards in its Nvidia line-up, all based on Nivida's 8400GS GPU. The most interesting thing about these cards is that they do not use AGP or the nowadays standard PCI-Express x16, but rather the neglected PCI-Express x1 interface. Sparkle has announced no less than eight different cards with various amounts of memory and different types of cooling.

Sparkle's new 8400GS PCI-Express x1 cards will feature either 256 or 512MB of memory and will be either actively cooled by a small fan or passively cooled by a small heatsink. All of the announced cards will use a low profile heatsink and work at 567MHz for the core, 900MHz for shaders and 900MHz for either 256 or 512MB of DDR2 memory paired up with the 64-bit memory interface.

All of them will have a DVI, D-sub and a TV-Out connectors, while the HM branded ones will also feature HDMI support via a DVI-HDMI adapter.
