One with HDMI and DisplayPort

Powercolor has decided to launch two HD 4550 cards. The one that caught our eye is the PLAY! HD 4550 which will have DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. The second one will be a plain low profile HD 4550 that comes with regular DVI, D-Sub and TV-Out connectors.

Both cards will be actively cooled by a small fan, and the only drawback is that the PLAY! HD 4550 will have a full PCB design while the regular one will be a low-profile card. Both cards work at 600MHz for the core and come with 512MB of GDDR3 memory, paired up with a 64-bit memory interface. The HDMI capable PLAY! HD 4550 card has a slightly lower 800MHz memory clock while the normal Powercolor HD 4550 will have a 900MHz memory clock.

Both cards feature support for DirectX 10.1, PCI Express 2.0, UVD2, built in HDMI with 7.1 surround audio and ATI's CrossfireX technology.
