Today is the launch day of Nvidia's 9800GT GPU, or the card that comes with the 55nm version of the G92 GPU to be exact. The Asus 9800GT is already listed and available in Europe and it's lowest price stands at €115.55.

According to the listing, this card works at 600MHz for the core and comes with 512MB of DDR3 memory clocked at 900MHz (1.8GHz effective). The shader clock is set at 1.5GHz and it is still not clear if this is a 55nm or the 65nm version. The listing on Geizhals.at does state that the card in question is 55nm, but retailers didn't list the manufacturing process or the support or lack of the support for Nvidia's Hybrid Power.

Either way, it would be hard to see if the card is made at 55nm manufacturing process when you buy your card from e-tail, so be sure to double check it. You can find Asus' 9800GT listed here.
