2K Games has confirmed that it will be delaying the release of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of WWE 2K15. The delay is in the interest of delivering the best possible WWE experience for the fans and 2K’s development teams are hard at work to make sure they get it right.
While the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions have now been pushed out till November 18th/21st, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game will be released as scheduled on October 28th in North America and October 31st in Europe.
Long time developer Yukes has been working with Visual Concepts on WWE 2K15 and are looking to deliver the most authentic and action packed version of wrestling for the next-generation consoles and of course there is a learning curve with any new console, so the delay will give the developers more time to polish the next generation version of the game that meets the lofty standards set by the developers.
With the delay, WWE 2K15 will release the same week as Fry Cry 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 for the next-gen systems. Sales for the next-gen version might encounter some tough sledding so to speak with two other high profile titles out the same week.
