Cebit 2010: Bundled with 3D Vision glasses and software

Sparkle has announced new X240/X240G and GT 240 GDDR5 OC cards, which are bundled 3D Vision with Power Pack.

The reference GT 240 card can provide 3D vision on lower resolutions, but for better performance Sparkle X240/X240G and GT240 OC cards are overclocked out of box. All cards feature GDDR5 memory and the X240 comes with 512 MB GDDR5, while the X240G packs 1 GB of GDDR5.

We got a chance to see the X240G card at the Cebit and to make some photos for you.

Sparkle's X240G sports a GPU clocked at 630 MHz, which is about 14% above stock clock of 550 MHz, while the memory works at 3,600 MHz GDDR5 or about 5% above the stock clock of 3,400 MHz GDDR5. The card features 96 stream processors at 1,677 MHz, VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors.

The dual-slot cooler on this card features a fan with two blade layers, each in different color, which has a self-cleaning function.

In other words it features a self cleaning mechanism. The fan will rotate clockwise for 30 seconds after turned on, then counterclockwise to remove dust from the blades. We will know the price soon.
