Cebit 2010: In the spirit of the HAF 932

Cooler Master’s very successful HAF chassis series will get new addition, HAF X case. The price is not fixed jet, but it will be available in about 3 to 4 mounts.

The main difference to the previous HAF 932 is more space for graphics cards. HAF X supports nine expansion slots, or in other words it can house quad SLI or a quad CrossFire setup. With this case Cooler Master brings HDD hot swap slots on the front panel, like Corsair did with its Obsidian 800D case.

From the picture below you can see one 200 mm fan mounted on the transparent window, which is actually just one of four 200 mm fans inside the case. The front 200 mm fan comes with red LED, while other two 200 mm fans are placed on the top. A 140mm fan is mounted on the rear panel. The HAF X measures W / H / D : 230 x 550 x 590 mm and there is enough place behind the motherboard tray for nice cable management. The plastic parts that you can see in the middle of the case are actually VGA fan cover and cable cover, used for hiding cables at the bottom of the case.
