Circuit Board makers are starting to notice that European
customers are asking to delaying their shipments.
Unitech Printed Circuit Board has received requests from
its clients to tentatively postpone June shipments due to weakening demand
resulting from the debt crisis in Europe.
Company president Hsu Cheng-hung told
Digitimes his outfit is running at 80-90 per cent of its capacity due to strong orders
received in April and May, particularly for HDI boards from the handset sector.
But it seems the Europeans are not so optimistic and are
asking for delays on some of their orders until the debt crisis resolves
itself.
