German retailer/e-tailer Alternate.de has listed OCZ's Agility 2 and Vertex 2 solid state drives, both based on new Sandforce controllers. The new drives are still not available but according to our info, both are to be available pretty soon, in early April.

As we wrote before, the new Agility 2 will be available in 50, 100, 200 and 400GB capacities, and this one will feature max read and write speeds of up to 275MB/s and 265MB/s. Alternate.de didn't list the 400GB one but we guess that this one will come a bit later. The 50GB drive is currently listed at €214,90 which is €30 more when compared to the older 60GB Agility SDD. The 100GB is listed at €389 while the 200GB one is selling for €729.

The Vertex 2 series, which uses a faster SF-1500 Sandforce controller will feature maximum read and write speeds of 280 and 270MB/s and IOPS for 4k random write at 20,000. It will be available in same capacities, and Alternate is currently listing 50, 100 and 200GB versions for €229.90, €414 and €839.
