This time for Splinter Cell Conviction

It seems that Microsoft can’t get enough of the Xbox 360 Special Edition bundles. Most recently, we saw the company offer the Xbox 360 in a Final Fantasy XIII Special edition bundle that included the elusive 250GB hard drive.

Microsoft has announced that another Xbox 360 Special Edition bundle will be headed to retailer shelves in early April to celebrate the release of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell Conviction, which does happen to be an Xbox 360 exclusive release. The bundle will be available in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The Xbox 360 Splinter Cell Conviction Special Edition will include the black Xbox 360 console packaged with two wireless controllers, 250GB hard drive, AV cable, a single wired headset, and, of course, a copy of the Splinter Cell Conviction game. All of this will come at a $399 USD price tag.

While the Xbox 360 unit itself does not include any special bezel or paint to make it more customized for the special edition release, it seems as if the release is more centered on making sure that the 250GB hard drive is available to those buying new consoles. Beyond announcing that it will arrive in April, no specific release date has yet to be confirmed; but we have checked with our sources and it is available for pre-order now.
