Two different options to choose from

After announcing at the X10 event in San Francisco that North America would be getting a 250GB Final Fantasy XIII edition of the Xbox 360, we hear rumblings behind the scenes that we could expect a similar announcement of a European Xbox 360 250GB FFXIII console bundle, as well. We waited last week, talking to a variety of sources, but no one seemed to know what Microsoft had planned for the bundle in Europe.

Now we can confirm that Europe will be getting not one, but two, different Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 console bundles. North America will only get the one bundle, however. The first bundle is the same bundle we told you about that will be sold in North America; it will include the Xbox 360 console (in white with the silver DVD drive bezel), 250GB hard drive, 2 white wireless controllers, one wired headset, a copy of the Final Fantasy XIII game and the special download pack.

We can confirm that the download content included is nothing more than two downloadable outfits for your Avatar and a pet for your avatar. The outfits are the Rosch and Nabaat outfits and the included pet will be a chocobo pet.

The second bundle for Europe is the Final Fantasy XIII game that is bundled with the standard black Elite package with the 120GB hard drive, wireless controller and wired headset. Sources suggest that this was done as an option for those who just want the lower cost bundle, but also want the Final Fantasy XIII game.

Prices have yet to be confirmed to us, but while this has yet to be confirmed we have reason to believe that both bundles will be available in most PAL territories, including some outside of Europe. Our sources tell us that you should be able to place a pre-order for the FFXIII Xbox 360 bundle in Europe starting today for delivery on release day.
