Remember
that both Asus and MSI showed mysterious Nvidia based tablet devices and
finally we can tell you at least one important bit about the specification.
Asus device
is powered by Tegra 2, dual-core ARM Cortex 9 based CPU and it will support
multitasking. Even the non-Asus prototypes we used did supported the
multitasking and this will be Taiwanese big opportunity in fight against Apple. Of course
Asus, MSI are not as cool as Apple, but they will probably cost dramatically
less than Apple's iPad.
Tegra 2
will also allow full 1080p HD playback and we can only suspect that
Asus will
ship its Tablet with an external HDMI connector and let you play HD
content on a big screen. We expect to see it again and get more details
at Cebit, the
world’s biggest IT tradeshow that starts in early March in Hannover
Germany.
