All tablets belong to Jobs Mob

The only
outfit in the world to actually make an Apple tablet has been told to hand over the product's name to Apple.

Axiotron, has been ordered to hand over the “TabletMac” trademark to Apple. Axiotron has built its business around taking apart original Apple MacBooks, converting them into solid, one piece, touch-screen tablets, capable of pen-input. If an owner takes their own MacBook to the outfit they will convert it for $699. Ready-to-go TabletMac's start at $1,199.00. (So, they've copied Apple pricing, too. sub.ed.)

However Jobs ' Mob feels that it owns the word “Mac” when it comes next to the term “tablet” even if its own Tablet is so far vapourware and the wet dream of the Mac Fanboy press.

Axiotron now calls the gear “ModBooks” and appears to have transferred the trademark to Apple.
