Athlon Neo X2 inside
MSI has unveiled a new X-Slim series 14-incher, the AMD-based X430.
Unlike the previous X410, which was based on the venerable Athlon Neo
MV-40, the X430 offers a bit more CPU/chipset combo.
The X430 will ship with Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processors and it also
got a new, more power efficient RS780MN+SB710 chipset with Radeon
HD3200 integrated graphics.
The rest of the spec remains unchanged. 14-inch 1366x768 glare screen
packed in a 349x234x24.5 mm chassis weighing around 1.5kg with a 4-cell
battery. An 8-cell unit is optional. The X430 features 2GB of DDR2 667
RAM, up to 500GB storage, draft-n wireless and optional Bluetooth and
optical drive.
