Electrophoretic display maker Prime View's chairman Scott Liu has forecast that the global e-book reader market will more than double in 2010.

Liu has been flat out trying to make enough displays to deal with shortages of Barnes & Noble's nook e-book reader. He said that his outfit currently has over a 90% of market share with first-tier clients including Amazon, Sony, Hanwang, and Barnes & Noble.

Number two supplier is AU Optronics which expects to become the second largest supplier with two million shipments next year. Delta Electronics plans to start shipping e-book readers in the second quarter of 2010.
