Facebook deals with hacks by cutting them off

A hack who was investigating a Facebook story about a Playboy model that had been denied access to her account found his own page disconnected by
the social notworking site.

Playboy model Anissa Holmes was denied access to her Facebook account, which prevented her from retrieving personal photos and contacts. Radio talk show host Ryan Doyle ran a story about Toronto-based Playboy model who lost her account after company puritans denied her access to the site over photos it deemed were too sexually explicit.

Holmes had posted several photographs of herself in lingerie and bikinis, which she admits were "suggestive," she said she has never posted a nude picture. There were a few that apparently showed her ankles which has got the retired colonels, nuns, and loonies in the Facebook censorship department upset.

Within a few days, the show's host was also denied access to his own account. He was never told why, but Facebook insisted that it had received reports that Doyle's account was fake, but after an investigation it would reinstate both Doyle and Holmes. It was just a terrible coincidence that after Holmes complained to Doyle about being disconnected, he too was also disconnected, she said.

Well if my Facebook site goes down in the next few days, you will know why.
