Up to 5 fans at 10W per channel

Today
, NZXT released a new 5.25” bay full system fan controller with an “advanced” touch screen interface called the Sentry 2. For those who enjoy overclocking, gaming, case modding, or simply have a bunch of case fans, it can become quite irritating when too much fan noise gets in the way of enjoying the platform and the cooling to performance ratio isn’t quite right.

NZXT felt the need for an aesthetically appealing, simple to use touchscreen LCD-interfaced device that features its own temperature sensor associated to each of five fan inputs so they can be automatically controlled. The Sentry 2 fan controller installs in a matter of seconds and in our opinion looks very modern in design.

According to the company, “the controller’s advanced functionality [will] sound an alarm to alert the user should the temperature exceed a preset amount and stores saved settings even after it is turned off.  Designed to maximize efficiency, the Sentry 2 supports 10W per channel and creates less heat than traditional temperature displays.”

NZXT is selling its latest case accessory for $29.99, but as of now, the only retailer with it in stock is Newegg at $34.99.
