Second revision of the popular CPU cooler

Arctic Cooling is working on a new revision of its quite popular Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler. The original Freezer 7 was one of the best value coolers back when it was launched, and was considered one of the best replacements for the reference cooler, especially if add its low price into the equation.

The new revision will prolong its life as it brings support for Intel's socket LGA 1156 and 1366, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The new revision also supports AMD socket 939, AM2, AM2+ and AM3 processors and the cooler is backed by six years of warranty.

The cooler itself has six copper heatpipes connected to a total of 42 aluminum fins which are cooled by a 92mm fluid dynamic bearing fan that spins from 900 to 2500 RPM. It also comes with pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste.

The new revision of the Freezer 7 Pro cooler should be available pretty soon with a price tag set at US $28.90/€20.90 without VAT.
