Looks like more details will be coming soon

PlayStation 3 owners who happen to have Fallout 3 are still waiting for the promised downloadable content that Xbox 360 owners have already had for some time. Good news might just be on the horizon, however, as our sources tell us that Bethesda will release a patch next week targeted at the PlayStation 3 owners and if this goes as expected, PS3 owners can expect to hear more details on when they the release of the downloadable content will occur for Fallout 3.

From what our sources tell us, once the official release schedule is announced for the PlayStation 3 it will follow the same order of add-ons that it did on the Xbox 360. Operation Anchorage, will be released first, then with The Pitt coming next, and then Broken Steel. It is expected that the release time between them will be four to six weeks each, as it was for the Xbox 360.

What exactly the issues have been with getting the PS3 DLC add-ons out is unknown, and no one is really talking about it. Our source did hint, however, that getting this update patch out is a necessary first step before any additional content could be released. Look for more on this in the coming weeks.
